Creed is a United States alternative rock band famous in the late 1990s and early 2000. Some listeners think of Creed songs as Christian rock. However, Creed frontman himself has stated:

Then they added bassist Brian Marshall and drummer Scott Phillips. Then they changed their name to Creed's previous band named after Marshall, "Maddox Creed".
First, they work in bars directly, then they met Jeff Hanson, who allowed them to play in a bigger place. Hanson worked with producer John Kurzwegg to produce Creed songs.
